boy likes me

theres a boy that really likes me - his friends keep telling me and i know that he does. we met at a halloween party, and got on well. we were both drunk, and he was confident and chatty. normally, he is a lot more shy and reserved. we've been on a walk, and text quite often, and i do really think that he's sweet. however, i think that he is a lot more interested in me than i am in him. i dont want to lead him on, but want to have the option of making my mind up without pressure or upsetting him.
any advice is really appreciated x

Theres no easy way to put it but, your not responsible for his feelings, your job it to take care of you! Honestly the best thing in these kind of fiddly situations is just communication, tell him that you need time to figure it out and that your not sure, if your feelings on this matter upset him in any way shape or form after this, then there is no way anything will move forward, feelings take time and it sounds like it hasn't been that long since you the most amazing and caring relationships take time and start slowly, its a process from stranger to acquaintances to friends to dating, you are NOT responsible for his feeling towards you. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise, the main priority is figuring how you feel!

How do you know this boy 'really likes' you? It's not a good sign having his friends telling you that, nor is him being chatty when drunk; i know it was a party, but are you both old enough to be drinking, eg over 18?

Why not ask him on a date? That's what it's there for, to get to know each other better.
