Should I do engineering or math and CS?

My chemistry teacher told me to do the subject that opens the most doors for my career. So which one would do that better? Engineering or (Math and) CS? And which kinds of jobs that open up provide the best satisfaction?

Which do you think you will enjoy more and be most likely to get the best degree classification while having enough time to take advantage of all the opportunities outside your studies.
