People who claim to wash in 5mins aren’t showering properly

I (literally) timed myself for how long I take to wash this morning (20mins).

This is me doing it FAST (wash face, brush teeth, shower).

It is impossible.

I’m the opposite, I can’t see how I could shower for 20 minutes unless I’m doing a shampoo or bath.

Even times were I’ve spent ages in the shower (and was taking the Mickey with how much water I was using) that ages is 10-15 minutes (showering alone, no brushing teeth or hair).

Am I the only one who likes a really good soak in a bath and will stay in it thinking for an hour or so?

Excluding washing your face and brushing your teeth, I definitely think a five minute shower is totally doable. I'm sure I could do it if it were necessary.

Depends really on your skin type. Me, I have to take 5 minutes showers because my doctor told me. I have sensitive skin and can get eczema easily. So, long and hot showers dry my skin out.

yea but face and teeth don't count.
unless you are shampoo-ing, it shouldn't take that long! i wouldn't want to pay your bills.

Why do you need to wash your face separately if you're then going to shower? Just wash your face while you're in the shower...

Not the only one but that isn't practical for those of us who shower in the morning before work, there isn't time for a bath.

With washing my teeth and drying my hair I also get ready in about 20 min

Because the crap on my face bothers so I want to get it off?

Not to mention you atleast need to get a face wash on your face before going in the shower.

no sometimes the pressure of the water coming out the shower can irritate and harm your skin on your face. Your skin on the face is far more easy to get irritated. Being gentle with water and using face soap along with a soft, small towel is the right way to not harm your face and still cleanse it

When I was a teen I used to spend ages in the shower. My parents house have a bath so sometimes I would even take a bath.
In the army I learned how to take quick but effective showers (not enough hot water for long showers). Now even if I take my time in the shower it never takes 20 min...
However, if I'm at my parents house and I'm sick I'll take a bath with oils...

I dunno if I've timed it, I'm probably not much longer than 5 mins unless I'm taking my time or felt I needed a specific scrub.
