Do I still have a chance for Physics at Imperial, or should I just accept defeat now?

Your Esat is not bad, heard back from imperial last week, but as far as I know only a handful of people have heard.
It’s very odd that they have not contacted all applicants yet. Maybe it’s a glitch in their system.

Congratulations on hearing back! I understand (from contacting admissions) that the admissions office wait for separate batches to come back from the departmental tutors - who carefully go through each application. If there are thousands, no wonder they come through at separate times.

It was for my son, his Esat average was 5.6. He received a conditional offer, non contextual.

I received an offer for physics msci on Thursday. ESAT 5, home, non contextual, 4A* predicted. They’re definitely still making offers so don’t give up hope just yet!

Hello everyone, I sat the ESAT in October and I've scored horrendously (3.4 in Maths 1, 3.3 in Maths 2 and 2.7 in Physics) <- I'm 99% sure this is why I got rejected without an interview at Cambridge for natural sciences :frown:
I'm wondering if I have any hope for Physics at Imperial, as after emailing them, they told me to "wait and see how my application gets on."
I just feel so hopeless and have tried scavenging the internet to see if there's any advice online on what I should do. I'm predicted 4A*s (Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Further Maths), but I know that it means nothing to them as that's what they'll expect everyone to have been predicted/achieved. I'd like to think my personal statement is good, but then again I feel that universities that claim to be "hollistic" only really consider how well you did on the entrance exam and not much more. (I could be VERY wrong though)
If anyone has any advice it'd be highly appreciated and thank you so much for reading this rant.

Did you hear back/receive an offer?
