How to apply for same course on UCAS but through foundation year and 1st year options

Hi so im wanting to have 2 choices for a Leeds Law Course, one to do the undergraduate degree through a normal 1st year entry onto the course, and a backup plan of doing a foundation year just in case results day goes wrong. However, ucas won’t allow for me to finalise my choices as it states I’ve applied for the same course twice - which I have, but for different year entries. Is it not actually possible to do this as I was wanting to put 1st year Law course as my firm choice and the foundation year Law course as my insurance.
Ring Leeds tomorrow morning.
At most universities applicants for year 1 entry will automatically be considered for year 0 entry if they can’t be offered a place on year 1

Yeah I thought that would be the case with leeds also but I emailed them before and they said that they don’t do it automatically as starting a law course with a foundation year it’s considered a separate course but I can’t find it on their list of courses. I’ll ring them on Monday though thank you.
