cambridge essay competition

hi i’m in year 12 and recently ive seen many tik toks and i’ve been interested to do it for 2025. i know that there’s quite a few of them for each college , which one is the best one to do? and is it good to put on your personal statement even if you don’t win? i have so many questions but don’t know where to start

for what subject? as long as it's an official college one they'd all be reputable, the fitzwilliam one is good if you're interested in humanities for example, caius is a popular one which does all subjects. that's perfectly fine if you want to put it on your personal statement whether you win or not, for example one of my friends talked about an essay competition that she didn't win for medicine and she got a place, it's just for you to show your academic abilities and if you win that's a bonus, but it's not necessary, lmk if you have other questions about doing an essay competition
