Enquires about uni offers

Hi everyone, I have a question: If I receive a university offer around January based on my predicted grades, can I still apply as an international student later? This is because, I am in the process of visa renewal, if my dependent visa renewal is rejected, I would need to reapply to UK universities as an international student. I’d like to know if I can use the same offer to continue applying as an international student.

You wouldn’t need a new application. It’s possible that even with a dependent visa you would be classified as an international fee paying applicant.
Your fee status and visa requirements can be amended on your existing application.

As above, this impacts only your fee-status, not your overall application - so you would not need to submit a new UCAS application.

What I’m worried about is, if my visa gets rejected before my actual A-level exams, I might have to take my A-level exams in another country. what options would I have? Could I still use the offer I receive around January(based on my predicted grades) to apply for a student visa (this means if the offer is official/valuable)? Once I get my A level results, would the university still honor the offer based on my predicted grades?
Taking your A levels at a different centre shouldn’t be a problem.

If you might need a university to sponsor your visa then I would recommend you apply as if that is the case. If you are granted a dependent visa then you can talk to your university about that after it’s approved.

You can apply for a UK student visa only after you have been admitted to uni, i.e. some time after A-Level results day. The application process could be very frustrating and start preparation after the exam.
