Ok im doing a retake course for maths and the coursework we were given is 'Trios' to do with sequences, but all were given is a 1 sheet that says basically nothing and says investigate further..mmm this is what it says.

    Context:

This task is most suitable for Foundation and/or Intermediate tier candidates. It could follow from work on sequences.

    Trios

Three whole numbers, greater than zero, can be used to from a trio.

    For example:

    (1,2,2) is a trio wose sum is 1+2+2 = 5

    and

(2,1,2) is a different trio whose sum is also 5

How many trios can you find with a sum of 5?

    Investigate further.

If you can help in anyway i would be greatly appreciated! although idoubt if anyone will be doing this.

this is quite a new coursework task and therefore not many people may be able to help you.

You may be able to find your coursework task here,
