EU student application delay

I am having issues with SFE and them processing my application. I got accepted through clearing, a bit unexpected so I applied for finance on 2nd of September. I have a previous degree and masters here in the UK, so I have previously applied and received funding. However the online system did not let me apply so I was advised to send it by post. I received confirmation of application being received on 11th September, however ever since then only delays. Exactly 8 weeks later I called to find out the application was just then looked at and my share code has expired, and also have to prove my immigration status (I have settled status) by sending in a Home Office letter. I do not have one as everything was online a share code is the only way to do it.
Anyway, many calls later I was advised to resend share code and a letter explaining the situation. Did all of that 2-3 weeks ago, and today I was told nothing appears on my profile.

It’s December, and I have run out of money for everything some weeks ago, the university is waiting for money- this is terrible service.
I am not sure if I should send another application entirely, try and create another online account to do it online what can be done. This is just too long.

What course are you applying for? Second degree aren't usually funded unless they are exception courses.

It’s Physiotherapy - I checked and is funded and plenty of my friends have received funding as their second degree.

Hi Marie. What was the last evidence you provided, was this the Home Office letter and share code? What date did you provide this and have you been asked for any other evidence? Also, just so you are aware, reapplying would not remove the request for evidence and would instead delay your application I would not advise cancelling your application. Thank you, David

Hi David - thank you for your reply.
Last thing I sent was a letter as advised by SFE explaining the fact that I do not have a Home Office letter and explaining the situation as well as a valid share code. Also, there’s a copy of my passport in there just in case.
I resent it a second time as someone on the phone this week told me they have no record of a share code.

Can you please clarify if it’s true that the check with Home Office takes 28 working days ?

Hi there. First, yes, that is our estimated timescale for a Home Office check if it is required. Secondly, we would not be able to accept a cover letter in this case. If requested to send a Home Office letter, you would need to provide this. If you do not have this then you need to contact the Home Office and request this letter. Thanks, David
