Settlement status

Hello
I recently applied for student finance with presettled status as the child of a migrant worker however I am considered ineligible as I am over 21 years and not financially dependent on my parents. I have lived in the uk for 5 years before the start of my course however I was just granted my settled status last month and I have now applied with this. Just wanted to confirm if I will be eligible for tuition fee and full maintenance loan.

Thank you. In this case you would need to allow the time for this to be reviewed. You may now be eligible for funding as a home student as you now hold Settled Status as this is known as a Change in Status Event but as mentioned we need to allow the time for this now to be fully reviewed.
