I have received an offer for the MSc in Robotics at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, and I am keen to know more about the academic experience at the university. Congratulations on receiving an offer from Heriot Watt University.
I am a masters student at Heriot Watt and know that the University has a strong focus on industry relevant training and research. The course involves training in core robotics techniques, programming including the use of robotic operating systems and applying skills through major projects. Heriot-Watt also hosts the National Robotarium. Its presence provides opportunities to gain knowledge and skills at the forefront of robotics and AI. In terms of employability prospects, the University is the top in Scotland for graduate outcomes which means that more of the graduates are employed or in postgraduate education than any other institution in the country.
