should I drop out?

Hi, I'm in year 13 studying A-level photography and sociology, and doing a 2 year health and social care (hsc) extended certificate in one year.

My mental health is getting worse and worse, I don't feel like I can complete all the work and the motivation to actually go into college is getting worse. I hate going and learning like that just isn't for me. I had the same thing approaching my GCSE and I thought college would be different but it's not.

I'm not going to uni and I'm taking a gap year to work as that is what I'm good at, and I need 12 month experience for the apprenticeship I want to do. I also don't need a levels for that, just a 4 in GCSE maths and English, which I have.

I am doing well in my subjects, predicted 2 A and a distinction, however recently they have dropped due to all the stress, I really want to drop out and just have a break from everything, but since I am 4/5 months from finishing is it worth it?

Go and talk to to your Head of Sixth Form or similar - this sort of stuff is exactly what they are there for.
Honestly I was so close to dropping photography 😔although I’m predicted an A as well.

You should contact your GP with your mental health difficulties.

Maybe you can talk to student support services.
