Hello,

This really depends on many factors including when you applied and even how many people have applied to Leicester this year. I know I applied well before the UCAS deadline and was made an offer within a few weeks.

The University have had a three week break over the last few weeks and so this will have slowed things down as our admissions tutors will not have had chance to review the applications. Also, with the UCAS deadline coming up we will most likely start receiving many more applications. My advice is to be patient and perhaps wait at least a month to a few weeks after the UCAS deadline as Universities do sometimes get to the point when they will only consider applications after the UCAS deadline.

If you have any further questions whether that's about the application process, the University, Leicester as a city or the Leicester Law school please do let me know.

🎉 Happy April Fools’ Day, future students! 🎉

University is all about learning, making new friends, and mastering the art of productive procrastination - where you suddenly clean your whole room instead of starting that essay 😆
No pranks here, just a reminder to enjoy the journey (and maybe even start that assignment on time…or at least before caffeine and panic become your only study plan).

May your essays be breezy, your deadlines far away, and your Wi-Fi strong. And seriously, we're here if you have any questions!

Hey future students! 👋

I think we can all agree that studying can definitely feel overwhelming at times. Fortunately, there's ways to stay on top of things while looking after your wellbeing.

You might know these already, but here are some simple and powerful tips to help you cope with study stress:
🌟 Break it down - Big tasks can be scary so try breaking them into smaller, manageable chunks. Ticking things off your list feels amazing and keeps you motivated!
Plan smart, not hard - Map out your week using a planner or calendar. Schedule study sessions and breaks based on what works best for you.
💤 Rest is productive - Getting enough sleep isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. A well-rested mind is sharper, calmer, and way more focused.
🥗 Fuel your body - Healthy snacks, regular meals, and plenty of water can boost concentration and energy. Don't forget to treat yourself now and then too. Balance is key!
🧘 Move and breathe - Even a short walk, some stretches, or a bit of deep breathing can do wonders. Exercise helps release stress and clears your head.
👥 Talk it out - If you're feeling stuck or anxious, don’t bottle it up. Chat with friends, tutors, or support services, you're never bothering anyone by asking for help.
🎉 Celebrate progress - No step is too small to be proud of. Finished a page? Amazing. Made a revision plan? Brilliant. Give yourself credit, you’re doing great.

Hope you find this helpful! We'd love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to share your tips on coping with study stress ☺️
