Is it possible to move from foundation maths to higher ?

I got a 4 in maths (foundation OCR) in my November mocks. Can I get a 6 in higher Edexcel?
Anything is possible with the right mindset. It may be hard (not that much) but if you have enough motivation it is possible. If you are still not sure look through some edexcel higher past papers familiarising yourself with the information. You may find it doable or very hard. Asking your teacher for advice can help too. In the end, it is up to you

My teacher barely teaches 🥲 I have tried Maths Genie but the most I am getting in the papers is 20 marks. Any tips?
A 4 is a pass. Not too great of one but it is a pass. You probably could move up but it's very important that you try and do question aimed specifically for grades 6 and upwards. I know the struggle of a teacher that doesn't teach
I recommend starting with at least 1 past paper and then marking it. From there, it is easy to identify where you have gone wrong or any gaps in your learning. Try to go over these individual topics by watching videos and then answering specific types of questions on it, e.g. if you messed up on box plots, learn how to do them again and test yourself on some questions. Take it from me, I was a grade 3 in the start of year 9 and am now a grade 8 in the start of year 11. As for your teacher, you cant really do anything about it but try your hardest to pay attention in class and always ask your teacher questions, even if they sound stupid. Also, the website cognitoedu.org works well if you learn that way. Also recommend printing a paper 1 and paper 2 checklist on edexcel, ticking as you learn topics. if you are consistent, you will be able to finish very quickly
