Is there any relationship between when applications were submitted and when they are moved to decision pending?

Best of lock everyone. Mine is still under review by department.

Does anyone know you are unsuccessful is it usually submit -> under review -> rejection or submit -> under review -> DP -> rejection? Like would DP show up either way or more likely if it’s an acceptance?

People usually say 'decision pending' almost always precedes an acceptance, but as I've seen elsewhere and another user said above, some people have had 'decision pending' and received rejections. Not sure about likelihood either way, that's anyones guess tbh

Mines still under review too. Just wish there was a little more transparency with the whole process. Seems a little cryptic to me

I'm also still under review, but I think being moved to 'decision pending' is a good sign because although it is the case that some who move to the DP stage might still get rejected, no person who gets accepted is not moved to that stage. So to be accepted, you have to go through the DP stage. That's how I understand the whole process, but I might be wrong.

Has anyone looked at past years to determine how long DP lasts? Is it a couple days or a couple weeks?

Im hoping thats the case cause if not, all of us who have not been moved to DP yet will likely get rejected.
