UCL mechanical engineering with aerospace eng personal statement

I have A*A*A*A predicted on FM Maths Chinese Physics in that order, strong reference and personal statement but it is based on aerospace engineering. I have applied for ICL UCL Sheffield Manchester and QM. Would the personal statement be a problem since I even mentioned I would like to take on an aerospace engineering degree. I am an international student.
Ideally your personal statement is expliclty abt what degree you are applying to study. if i understand correctly, youre interested in taking and aerospace engineering degree and wrote abt this in your ps? if thats the case then you are completely correct! if not, i would probably reccommend having a chat with your uni counsellor and asking why they didn't tell you to include that lol

The thing is UCL doesn’t offer Aerospace engineering which they only do mechanical, I’ve heard a lot of people that wants to do aerospace engineering has done the same for UCL and have no problem getting in, I just want to know if the fact I’ve included a sentence kinda saying I wanna take on a aerospace engineering degree will cause a problem. Fingercross they are not gonna reject me straight away cuz this is one of my dream uni😭. Thank you for replying.

from my own experience (tho in humanities) i applied to International relations and mandarin and wrote about it in my ps but some of the courses i applied to were callled politics/global politics. i cant say for certain re stem subjects, but generally in the humanities, esp in undergrad, loads of courses over lap at least a little bit and admissions people are very cogniscent of the limitations of the ps. i've recieved offers from some of the schools that i applied for politics in depsite writing abt IR, so im thinking it will probs be a similar scenario for you

Thank you that’s very useful I feel more relieved now. Good luck on getting the rest of your offers!
