Architecture EPQ ideas

Hi! I am a new year 12 student studying A level maths, geography, and psychology, I am also doing an EPQ which I'm hoping to do about architecture as I'm looking to become an architect in the future.

I am currently trying to figure out and decide on a topic idea of mine. I have yet to specify it but am looking into its main idea to be of historical architectural styles ( I'm interested in Gothic or Baroque). Furthermore, possibly doing it on why society views more modernized and simplistic architecture to be more desirable than the complex historical type. Either this is the main bit or a tangent I could go off on. But, I'm still unsure as to the layout/plan/expectations of this EPQ to be. However, I'm yet to decide and really struggling as I feel as if I'm falling behind.

I am open to complete new architectural ideas, and welcoming of advice for this EPQ.

I would do some initial research to see what would be viable, before setting your question up. It does sound like an interesting topic though.

Have you done all of the initial EPQ sessions with your supervisor (what EPQ is about, and basic research skills)?

Hi!!,
I love your current idea! Its a completely different architectural approach to mine but it sounds so interesting. I have done a lot of research since my last posts and currently have a working title of 'A comparative analysis of gothic and modern architecture in relation to aesthetics, with consideration of society's view and preference towards each style. A study with a focus on Paris.', I'm aware it seems super long but my supervisor has recommended the length to be good so 🤷*♀️,
I am also worried that I'll spend so much effort on this EPQ that I'll end up just changing my mind about what I want to do and it will be useless. Especially recently, I've been more interested in doing something related to geography, but I'm not sure if that's what I really want, and if it's just an idea that'll be over soon enough.
I imagine you are in somewhat of a similar situation (with a different subject though).
I'll definitely keep the ChatGTP thing noted. Thank you; it does seem like it would be super helpful.
let me know of any current issues or problems your facing, id be more than happy to give my input on it,

Thank you!, sorry for the late reply.
I have since done plenty of research and basically set on comparing modern and gothic architecture in relation to their aesthetics.
Thankfully, my supervisor is extremely helpful and the sweetest lady ( else I fear I would have been extremely lost )

Love this! I've gone ahead and decided to do mine based on an artefact rather than a dissertation! What title did you end up picking???
