Normally a requirement for x number of GCSEs at 4 and above will be waived. But any specific requirements for a higher grade in English or maths normally means that level is a strict requirement to succeed on the course and is unlikely to be waived unless your access diploma covers English or maths.
It depends on the requirements. Normally a requirement for x number of GCSEs at 4 and above will be waived. Wow that changes my entire application strategy the courses I want to do require a 6 in english language and I achieved a 5 do you think I would be let in through contextual admissions where they drop the grade to a 4 for both english and maths
I'm also doing a humanities access course focused on social science
