Ofcom Graduate Scheme 2025

Applied via Bright Network and haven't heard anything back since I completed the blended assessment last week. Is anyone else in this situation?

When did you complete the blended assessment?

Reply 4

I applied pretty much as soon as it opened , then did the test a few days later.

Does anyone know if they plan on hiring for their Data Science scheme this year? I've seen it advertised in previous years but I don't see it on Bright Network

heyy where there video questions in this assessment and what were they if you dont mind me asking? (Not sure if its the same for all roles but I applied to the economist role)

yes there were video questions, dont think it's fair for people to give you questions, but i think you get unlimited time to prepare for them (correct me if im wrong). all of the guidance and details can be found online.

Just did the assessment; will likely not pass so I'm willing to share tips.

1.

Some logical reasoning bits where sprinkled in there - nothing crazy.

2.

Numerical questions - Again quite standard.

3.

Some most and least likely questions - can be difficult to gauge what they actually want but whatever I guess.

4.

The real stinker is the video assessment - It took me no joke close to 3 hours to prep and record 💀. Unlimited time to prep but I would suggest prepping some general interview questions before hand. Total of 4 questions; one economic based; one motivational; and 2 of the most random questions ever that you are better preparing for on the spot.

Don't do the assessment on a whim like I did; set aside a good time where you are fresh and prepped.

lmk how it goes 🤗

Thank you so much, I hope sth better comes up for you! But I’m wondering is the video assessment the usual 2 min prep and 2 min to record layout

No problem! They give you the question and unlimited time to prep. But then you only have one shot to record a 2 minute response.

Hi guys! Doing the tests tomorrow - could someone let me know roughly how long it took to complete all stages? (just wondering how long I should roughly pencil in)

At least 2 hours - you'll spend a fair bit of that in the interview segment.
