How to stop looking for answers online/self improvement addiction

Hi,

Basically I have a habit of constantly looking online for answers I don't know what I am looking for but my mind is constantly chattering and I feel I have an internet addiction/self improvement addiction. I keep watching mental health (mainly healthy gamer gg) on YouTube or overthinking made up scenarios.

How do I stop this?
Hm, ...

1) There are apps out there, which can limit your screentime.
2) There is of course professional help available. (Both for addiction or maybe just for the grounding, that you do not need to improve as much as you think? I mean nobody is perfect, but not everything requires improvement either.)
3) Organise yourself freetime activities, where you cannot watch your phone.
4) Try to block stuff, which sends you in a spiral.
5) Sometimes it might help to find out, that some channels might not be worth following, as it is too general or not professional enough.
6) Find something else to keep your mind busy and channel your interest in a more positive way. (University courses, scientifically based books, helping others, ...)
