can i change my A level subject before sixth form ?

I am currently in yr11 and i am interested in doing medicine so i wanted to pick biology chemistry and someother subject.I have finished my november mocks which will be sent to colleges.
I have got the required grade to do biology and chemistry but havent got a 6 in maths to do chemistry and i am being predicted a 5 but im sure i can turn that into a 6 or higher in gcses.
Will I be able to pick chemistry for A levels and can i switch my A level subject after getting a 6 in maths in real gcses before the start of college?
as the mock grades have already been sent to colleges and ive been predicted a 5

For most colleges then provided you get the right GCSEs, you can swap subjects in the first few weeks, but if you wanted to know faster, you could just email their admin office and ask to change.

Talk to the college asap.STEM subjects are in high demand and get filled up first.Leaving it until after results risks you finding classes are full.

If you try and get a higher grade in your next GCSE mock for maths, then ideally you should contact them and talk to them or you can wait for enrolment after getting your GCSE results where you could change your choices but it is not guaranteed you will be offered a space depending on how much people applied and if its full or not. However now I do think they might give you the benefit of the doubt as your only 1 grade off but it depends.

can i try contacting them after getting a higher grade in the next mock and tell them the situation or ask them to reserve a spot? Will that help?
