Do i have a chance at warwick econ?

I got a 3.1 on my tmua score and im really disappointed as i want to apply for economics at warwick. On their website they said the average for students applying for econ is 4.5 this year but will consider applicants with lower scores. Do you think i have a chance at getting an offer with my score?
Where do they say this?

Nvm just found it. Im in a similar situation with a 3.8 and 4A* predicted. Dont forget average for econ applicants may be slightly lower than 4.5, as the grades would have been pushed up by maths and cs applicants. So hopefully we both have a chance

I got a 4.0 in TMUA and have applied for econ at both LSE and Warwick. Wondering the same…

Because the TMUA changed this year the grades that are considered good have also changed but only Durham have seemed to have provided an update on their stance for it if you look on their website they say that what was equivalent to 4.5 last year is between 3.2 and 3.5 this year so your score is by no means bad at all.

Thank you! That’s reassuring

No, 4.5 score is the average for THIS year (compared to around 5.4 last year). Read the information properly. But yeah I'd agree a score in the 3 to 4 range isn't terrible.

I don’t think u read his properly. He said the Durham WEBSITE SAYS (which is true just go on their website) that a 4.5 LAST YEAR, is graded similarly to a 3.2-3.5 THIS YEAR. That is what Durham posted and what the commenter stated. . Nothing about how 4.5 was the avg this year (which is true well done on the stat reading). Read the information properly.

6.5 is generally what is expected it can vary marginally though
