TMUA Score for Imperial Maths

So recently I received my TMUA score and I got a 5.5 which equates to around 6.7 to 7.0 in comparison to last years scores. I was just wondering if this would give me a decent chance for an offer, as it places me roughly in the top 30% percentile range.

Sorry to say but reason no one has answered is because no one knows. yes a 5.5 is decent for Imperial (wont disadvantage you) but if everyone applying to your course gets like 6+ and contextually are better they will get the offers but no one on TSR has that knowledge so no point in worrying. U got safely above average so nothing more u can do. Gl

Np. I understand it’s stressful but trust me you could be a lot worse rn. Most would probably say around a 6-7 is more likely for imperial but first year they using TMUA and also the issues with personvue like the leaked test etc no one knows the odds. It was said a 5.0 now is like an old 6-6.5 so if that conversion is true then a 5.5 is prob decent enough for alright odds. I got worst than that if it makes u feel better but my application was long gone before I sat it so tough . No one knows yet so we can just pray/hope.

Unless you did not take TMUA for some reason, it’s unlikely

Nah apparently someone emailed and they stated if your tmua was boarderline, you will have a step offer. I cba to find it but it was somewhere reddit if you dont believe.

Yh..... I wouldnt lie because I'm also applying to Imperial, with a "boarderline" prob under avg tmua so Im terrified of even if I do somehow get an offer, it would be STEP based. It kinda makes sense tho, if they think a candidate is decent with a bad tmua to give a STEP conditions. Again I could be wrong this is just what someone stated the email said but realistically we can just wait and see 😱

It’s literally on the website they said for ppl who’s TMUA is not good enough they’ll get step but it’s very rare even then only like 7% of offers

Nah I think it wasnt there before, as when I checked when first applying for Oxbridge deadline it wasnt. Ig they added it after realising the grade boundary shift did more impact then they assumed?

I agree because it was not stated on their website until around summer.
