Changing University option after applying

So I sent my UCAS application for Chemical Engineering 2 days ago however I'm having second thoughts about applying to Manchester instead of Nottingham. It's still within 14 days of my application so I can swap my choice through UCAS but I'm wondering if its a good idea and my application will be treated the same. The course I applied to in Manchester is just am masters with no year in placement because the entry requirements are too high for my predicted grades but with Nottingham I can get into the masters with placement year course which is something i would prefer. Would anyone please give me advice if this is strategic or just a bad idea.

Thanks.
If you prefer Nottingham to Manchester then switch. Nottingham won’t know until you have replied to your offers next year that they are a substitute choice.
