Allied Health pgdip then MSc.

Hi,

I'm a graduate with a BSc in Biomedicine. I want to do aan allied health postgrad course, potentially dietetics (ucl/kings), Occupational Health (LSBU/ St. George's) or Diagnostic Radiography.

I know some allied health courses can be considered for exemption funding and funded using undergraduate funding. If I were to do a pgdip in OT for example, would I still be able to do a full MSc after (in something different) and obtain the usual MSc funding, considering I won't already have a qualification of equal standing and will not have used any postgraduate funding already.

Thanks for your answers in advance

Hi there,

Yes, that's right - you'll be eligible for a Masters Loan so long as you don't already have a Masters, regardless of your previous study.

Thanks, Graeme
