Cambridge history of art interview

Hi everyone! I’ve applied to the History of Art undergraduate program at Cambridge and have been offered an interview for next week. I’m looking to connect with other applicants who will be interviewing so we can practice together, or with fellow art history enthusiasts who are interested in discussing art. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to collaborate or chat about all things art history!

I've applied to History of Art at Cambridge and have an interview next week as well! What college did you apply to? I applied to Newnham. I'm trying to find information on their website about the interview but I'm struggling to get anywhere. I know what will roughly happen in terms of the interview format but I want to double check what's in my head is correct.

Hi! That’s great—we’ll both be interviewing next week! I applied to Caius. I totally understand wanting to double-check everything; I’ve been doing the same. From what I’ve gathered, it seems like the format includes some visual analysis based on pictures and questions related to our personal statements, so I am focusing on those areas.
If you’d like, we could practice discussing images or asking each other questions—it might be a good way to refine our responses and build confidence. Let me know if that sounds interesting!

Hi! That’s great—we’re in the same boat since my interview is on Wednesday too! Would you be interested in doing a mock interview together to practice? Let me know what works for you. 😊

Well done for getting it done☺️ For me, the first one wasn’t great and the second one was a lot smoother. What college did you go for?
