UCAS application

Hi everyone, I just applied to radiotherapy, diagnostic imaging, paramedic science, biomedical science and human nutrition and dietitics at Glasgow Caledonian university, anyone has any advice on any of those courses and what is preferred or on high demand. Also if you’re applying to any of the same courses introduce yourself!!

I would suggest diagnostic radiography as you can specialise in MRI, ultrasound, mammography etc. every hospital has a diagnostic imaging dept. Look at whether you want a 9-5 job. What life career balance you want in life.

What is wrong with radiotherapy and oncology, lots of people are telling me stuff about that course

Both are good careers. It depends what you want to do. I suggest attending open days, and visit radiotherapy and am imaging X-ray dept. Speak to the clinical staff. When visiting university open days ask them about their NSS student satisfaction and most importantly their graduate outcomes for the programme. Best of luck!

I actually visited a radiotherapy centre at the beatson, it depends now on what courses I get offers
