Have you been and looked around, asked questions, talked to staff and students and picked up on the general vibe? What’s your initial impressions? How did seeing the second place make you feel compared to the first? When you actively thought about their offerings (pastoral support, curriculum contents, results, career opportunities, super/extra curriculars etc) did that make one of them go ahead in your estimation? What opinions online strangers have will likely have little bearing on what’s right for you. You and your family know you best. Don’t get swayed too heavily by rumour or reputation. Take those things and probe the schools about them. Measure those against what you have seen and felt on visits and value your instincts. Trust yourself.

And don’t forget to think a little bit about how long or difficult your commute to each place would be. Things like that can affect how much time and energy you will have for studying, socialising, family and hobbies. It might seem an insignificant thing but it’s every day over two years so it can have an impact. Good luck in whichever you choose
