i was gonna do a joint degree because it u have to take 3 subjects and it would guarantee me a space in 2 instead of just one. but im worried incase i dont like one of the subjects after trying it (i havent studied before but it sounds really interesting and i got unconditional). would i be able to drop one in second year or higher if i disliked it?
yes usually you can drop a subject if you do a joint degree either in the first few weeks of first year or the first few weeks of second year! it’s something you can discuss when you get there with your personal academic tutor or the student hub. usually though this relies on if your uni offers it singularly - sometimes degrees can only be joint (for example they may offer english and creative writing but not creative writing on its own).
