How to revise A level Physics?

So I'm in year 13 right now, studying wjec eduqas physics, and I had issues at home last year which led to me falling far behind on year 1 content, ending on an E. Currently, I'm working at a C for year 2 content and I'm doing solid in it, but Im struggling to revise year 1 content, and it's like every time I sit down to do revision for 2 hours, I end up basically getting nowhere. Can somebody please give me advice on how to revise, and also give me some good websites, YouTube channels etc.

Have you tried past exam papers and model answers as practice? Revise one topic, eg Radiation, then go through all the past papers and answer questions related to radiation. Use papers from your exam board as well as other exam boards. Another method is mapping technique- draw out a map of all the concepts into a picture that will help you recall the image during exams.
Or, seek private tutor to help with revision, motivation and understanding.

If you want to catch up, consider getting a textbook / revision guide and use it the most efficient way. Just reading the textbook would certainly not help. Maybe make notes on those important information you need while understanding it. Then do some active recall. But don't just solely rely on the textbook, consider getting bits and pieces of information from other websites like Physics and Maths tutor. Quizlet is a good tool for flashcards and I'd recommend Seneca Learning as well. Now its just a matter of applying your knowledge in to exam questions and doing a vast number of past papers. Btw if your revising from the textbook rather than a revision guide, then its better you use the spec and see what you need to know instead of learning irrelevant info.
