Should i change sussex to Manchester?

Got an offer from sussex, but it was at AAB, whereas other university such as nottingham have offered me AAB with an A in my EPQ. I now think i could be ambitious and change sussex to Manchester but I’m worried about insurances, as I’m not guarenteed an A in my EPQ… Any advice please?

You may get an invitation to an 'offer holders day' or similar - which is a bit like mini-open day and definitely worth going to before you make a decision about Firm / Insurance. You would get a presentation about the subject and course structure / unit options, and an opportunity to see the campus and each city, and talk to current students about why they like the Uni etc.

Sussex would make a good insurance - if you like the course - its not as competitive as the other two and therefore far more likely to take you if your results next August are below the offer. Its in a vibrant arty seaside town with lots to do and its only 50 mins by train from London - recommended.
Hi! im a student at uni of manchester right now and can say i love it, although obvs depends on your course and what you like in a city. manchester was my third choice and i really didnt want to go and was deciding between here and leeds. someone above suggested going to offer holder days, which i really recommend. the one i went to made me choose mcr and also made me genuinely excited about going when before i was dreading it. sussex as your insurance sounds good, you may as well aim high and work hard, and there's always clearing if everything is messed up. can't speak for brighton as ive never been but you're welcome to grill me about manchester if you want!
