Interviews

Let’s say I pass my uni interview but decline the offer later on, would I need to do the interview again if apply the same course next year?
Yes, each admissions round is considered separately and apart. If applying for the same course at the same Uni, there is no guarantee you would be offered an interview or a place on the course.

Hi Rxxxbs,

I can only really speak for Coventry University but I am sure this does apply to other universities.

With your enquiry, it is very dependent on the University's admission teams' policies. Generally, if you reapply, you may need to go through the full application process again, which could include another interview. However, the admissions team will assess your new application based on the circumstances and any changes to the course or entry requirements so I think it would be best if you email or phone your chosen university and explain your situation.

However considering you said you may apply next year, it would make sense that you would go through the interview process again as your offer would not be on the system nor would your place be held and thus going through the application process again would make the most sense.

Hope this helped,

Hi

I would think that each round of admissions would mean that you would need to complete separate steps to gain admission each time.

However, I would speak to the admissions department at your chosen university to seek their advice as they will be able to best advise.

I hope this helps,
