Are these ok a-levels??

So I really want to do Classics or English Lit at uni, and then go on to teach English or Classics, are these ok A-Level choices? I'm doing Classical Civilisations, English Literature, Psychology and Politics, do I need to change any?

I'm also a bit concerned about not being able to do Classics at uni, as I'm not taking Latin for A-Level (none of the colleges/sixth forms in my area offer it), and the only language I've taken for GCSE I dropped last term (French). Will this be a problem?

Not really, but at the school I'm going to it's required to either take 4 or 3 and an epq, and I really don't want to do an epq

In that case your choices seem fine.

They sound great! I did read your other comments, though. Personally, I would definitely opt for an EPQ rather than a fourth A Level, I think the workload would be insane. I did an EPQ and it was a really valuable experience for me. I have also received 3 lowered offers due to getting an A in it. Just thought I'd add my thoughts. 🙂

not all universities require you to have studied latin (or greek) for classics!! id recommend checking the websites of any universities youre interested in if you havent already. they might also offer classical civilisation or classical studies courses with optional language modules for those without latin or greek a levels.

is there any particular reason you dont want to do an epq? to me it seems preferable to 4 very content heavy subjects
