No7 interview

Hi I have an interview next week at boots for a No7 advisor role.It’s a 2.5 hour interview and I was just wondering if anyone has interviewd for them and could tell me a little bit about the process ?

Unfortunately nobody can tell you the exact question what you maybe asked due to fairness to any other candidates also applying for same role as yourself.... I'll give you a quick few examples of what you maybe 🤔 asked 🙂....

Some Boots interview questions are........

1) Why do you want to join Boots....
2) Tell us about a time when you had to work with people who you didn't know..
3) Tell us about a time when you saw someone who needed help and What did you do to help them...
4) Tell us about a time you went out of your comfort zone to help someone...
5) are you flexible for working various days and hours.......
6) how do you cope with a angry customer....

Two parts, one interview and one practical demonstration. You may be asked to do a full face of makeup on the interviewer, you'll have to colour match and know products that meet their foundation needs .

you will probably be asked to demonstrate some things as part of your interview as you will have a informative chat question and answer interview and then ask to do something on the shop floor in the department you'll be working in if successful and then finishing off with more questions etc in the office

Although it's a 2.5 hour slot for your interview it doesn't mean you'll be there all this time okay as it depends on how the store manager has asked the senior staff in charge of the boots no 7 department in the store you applied to.

Although you might be employed for boots no 7 staff you could be asked to work elsewhere in the store and there's nothing you can do 😭 😭 😭 .

hii. I have an interview tomorrow and in the email and video they sent it mentioned using products on customers. did you have to do this and if so did they give you any instructions or did you just have wing it?

If they say that in the email that you have to apply makeup products on customers as part of your interview process then you will have to do it as it shows them what you can do with applying makeup products - they will give you some instructions on what they want you to do and then you will apply it.,
If successful with your interview then all the necessary training on applying makeup etc will be given to you so don't worry if you think you'll be left to your own.

I know that every individual books store that has a makeup department will do things differently from other stores 😔.
