Two Oxford Interviews

I applied to new college for engineering science. I received an interview from new college and then a few days later also received one from trinity. I was unaware that this could happen and asked around my school but nobody knew much. I was just wondering if anybody knew whether this was usual for engineering science and if not whether this means anything. Thankyou and good luck to everyone else applying.
