Are my choices too ambitious? (psychology edition)

My A-level choices consist of soft and looked down-upon subjects including business, sociology and economics. yes, I know it is a bad combination and that they are not academic subjects, and that business + econ is a bad combo therefore I want to ask if my university choices are too ambitious if my predicted grades are A*AA

I'm planning to apply to psychology at;
Warwick - A*AA and no specific subject requirements
Durham - AAA and no specific subject requirements
Liverpool - ABB Including B In a science subject (science subjects include economics)
Exeter - AAA Including A in a science subject (science subjects include economics)
Bath - A*AA and no specific subject requirements

I know LSE And oxbridge would not accept my combination of A-Levels, but does anyone know whether these unis have a specific bias against A-level subjects and A-level combinations. I can't find anything. And if you don't know, do you think it's too risky to apply to Russel groups and should I just apply to unis much lower in the league tables

btw gcses were 988877776 and L2D*

Warwick's requirement isn't A*AA. It's AAA or A*AB (see here for confirmation). Also, Bath isn't a member of Russell Group (not that that makes any difference - it's an excellent university for Psychology.)

Your choices are slightly on the ambitious side, but not outrageously so. There's no need to change them.

I assume that you're aware that the study of Psychology will include quite a bit of maths (specifically statistics) and some Biology (the brain, nervous system, etc.). Do your A level subject choices suggest that you don't particularly enjoy science-type subjects?

There is nothing there to suggest that you would not have a realistic chance of getting into those universities.

As far as Business and Economics are concerned, yes a lot of universities do not like this combination for the simple reason that the content may overlap. There are some unis that don't like English Language and English Literature combinations.

As for Russell Group unis, are you aware that these are grouped together because they are research intensive universities, which really has no bearing at Undergraduate. Pick the universities where you think you would be most comfortable not because they are a RG uni.
