Applying to A*AA with AAA for accounting and finance

Is this not wise to apply for kings who want A*AA predicted for accounting and finance when I have predicted AAA. Or would I have a better shot at applying to Warwick who also want predicted A*AA. I really want to get into one of these unis.

Statistically speaking, the offer rate at Warwick according to UCAS (55%) would be higher than the offer rate at KCL (35%), which would mean that in theory it is easier to obtain an offer from Warwick than KCL for accounting and finance. However, in practice, being one grade off the entry requirements might result in an aspirational offer with higher grade requirements than your predicted grades being made (i.e. A*AA) if the university feels that you have been able to show through other aspects of your application that you are a suitable candidate for their course. Ultimately, you’re a grade below the entry requirements for each of these universities, but you can afford to be aspirational with at least one (if not more) of your choices, so long as you are being realistic with your safety choices. In this case, I would advise that you apply to the university you prefer rather than trying to estimate your chances and make a decision based off of this.

Where else are you applying to? Are you eligible for and reduced offer schemes?

Its worth checking each university website to see how the assess contextual offers as it does vary between universities.

I think if I were you I'd check how Warwick look at contextual factors (https://warwick.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/apply/contextual-offers/eligibilitycheck/england-wales-ni).
