Hi,
I’m glad to hear you’re considering the MSc in International Luxury Marketing at Oxford Brookes! I’m doing a PhD in Biology and completed my BSc and MSc at Oxford Brookes, so I hope to provide some helpful insights.

The MSc in International Luxury Marketing is part of the internationally respected Oxford Brookes Business School. It delves deeply into the nuances of marketing within the luxury sector, offering an excellent mix of theoretical knowledge and practical applications.

This programme covers various aspects of luxury marketing, including branding, consumer behaviour, and global strategies. At Brookes, there’s a focus on diverse assessments such as presentations, group projects, coursework/portfolios, and reports. The workload is manageable, but good time management is key, especially for portfolios and group projects. I found the balance between lectures and independent study to be great, allowing me to time block effectively.

Living in Oxford is a fantastic experience! I’ve lived in and around Oxford my whole life. The city has a vibrant student community with plenty of events, networking opportunities, and a rich cultural scene. Oxford Brookes offers modern and supportive campus facilities, and the city’s historic charm makes student life truly unique. The Headington Campus is a 15-minute bus ride from the city centre, with food outlets on campus and local shops just a 10-minute walk away. It’s close enough to enjoy the events and attractions of the city, but far enough to take a break when needed to focus on your studies.

The Oxford Brookes Business School has a strong focus on employability and building connections with industry professionals and alumni. You’ll have opportunities to attend guest lectures, networking events, and work on real-world case studies - all of which can help build your CV and professional network.

If you have any specific questions or need further details, feel free to ask. Best of luck with your decision, and I hope you enjoy your time at Oxford if you decide to join the programme!
