I’m not currently with the civil service. Did you apply for the Telford location?

Congratulations @foof6 Has anyone with a score of 12 who chose Preston gotten an email for ID check, it seems the Telford guys are the ones getting it for now.

Thank you 🙂 . Not heard of anyone else being offered yet. A friend mine scored 14 and it's still showing as on reserved list. They're likely to do more tomorrow just a waiting game now

I scored 13 for Preston and my application along with others in my office were withdrawn with the message

As you have accepted a role against another vacancy in the current batch of EO roles, your application from ‘Current Vacancy Details’ has been withdrawn.‘

We were all EO work coaches so I feel like they don’t want anymore work coaches leaving. But it should be a fair approach as this was an external vacancy.

Ah that's not good. Are you in your first 18 months of being a work coach?

Yes however another colleague was only coming up to 12 months in her role and she got the pension decision maker job just a month ago.
My other colleague who also got this message has been in the work coach role for around 4 years now.

I have emailed them but if not I may have to contact the civil service commission as I expected to atleast be left on the reserve list. As I got the reserve yesterday.

That sounds totally unfair. I know they put an 18 month minimum in a lot of departments now but they can't pick and choose if they apply it or not.
I actually applied for work coach recently and didn't get past the sift. Maybe a blessing in disguise from what I have heard since.

Yea, not fair. Why allow you go through all of the process and get reserved only to be withdrawn. Most especially when colleagues have done the same just a month ago and didn’t get withdrawn.

Nothing from me yet. Does anyone know if it’s possible to remove my 2nd and 3rd location choice. It’s really far from me and I only chose it as I thought it can’t be left blank

You should email them because if they offer you one of those locations and you say no, it'll remove you from the reserved list I believe.

No luck for me - on the day I found I got reserve list for 709 I asked and I was number 490! Which is actually shocking - people who scored the same were way higher up. Have asked again today
