King's College London History and Political Economy leniency

Hi, so Im applying to KCL for History and Political Economy and Im pretty confident I can meet their typical offer requirement of AAA. However, Im only planning to pick them as my insurance if there is a chance that they could potentially let me in if I was to miss the offer by one grade (AAB). I was simply wondering whether anyone has had any experiences with King's or in general where you were let in despite not meeting the offer. I could also insure another one of my courses which is guaranteed AAB however I rather go to London and I think it's worth the risk.

Thanks!

Hi there. Regarding kings leniency I’ve heard they are pretty strict so I’d say best not take the gamble if you are not confident you’d meet the requirements. In terms of the application, have you had an offer? Probably best to think about this dilemma once you have all your offers and then can pick which 2 unis you’d like to choose further. Good luck regardless
