Postgraduate Loan

If I started my PhD in 2020 as a part time student, can I still apply for a student loan? I fit in with the eligibility but its only that my situation has changed and I need some help with finance for next year. I am supposed to complete my PhD in 2026.

Hi there. Did you receive funding from us for your previous PHD course? Did you withdraw from this course? Thanks, David

Hi there. Is this your first time studying a PHD course? What month in 2020 did your course start? Can you confirm the name of the university and the course? Thanks, Leah.

Hi Leah, This is the first time I am studying for a PhD course. I started in January 2020. I am part-time studying. I have submitted the student loan application in December and I was informed that my course does not appear on your database (Nursing Research). So I am currently in communication with my university (Kings College London) regarding this.

Okay thank you. Once the course is updated we will be able to continue with your application. If you have any further questions please let us know. Thank you, David
