PhD admissions

I want to get admission in phD. My MSc will be completed in Feb 2025 from Pakistan. Do I need to pass IELTS or English language certificate will be enough ? How to apply for phD?

PhD in UK? you'll most likely need IELTS (usually 6.0 overall, with no unit under 5.5)

To apply, look at university websites for the course, and it'll say entry requirements and u can apply thru the websites (i think. i dont rlly know)

As above, you apply directly via the unis website.

For English, you may not need a test at the point at which you apply, that is up to the uni to decide if you can submit one later.

Pakistani international student here. You will need a test of English proficiency. Some universities understand that the cost of the test can be a burden and they give you conditional admission subject to passing the English test. Once you've passed the test, the university will also confirm the same on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) which you will need to apply for your student visa
