Engineering at uni

Lets say I apply to top unis e.g. ICL, KCL with nontraditional engineering subjects (predicted A*A*A* and a relatively strong personal statement), will I even stand a chance?

Ik there's gon be ppl with maths + physics+ further maths +chem predicted all A*s AND have strong extracurriculars...so is there any point, really contemplating (regretting) my a level choices rn...

cant even apply to a diff course cuz all my extracurriculars are to do with engineering... ://
As long as you have maths and physics you would be okay at most universities. You don't strictly need further maths. Some universities will let you do Engineering even without physics but Imperial and KCL would require physics.

KCL does not have proper engineering degrees like Mechanical, Civil etc and instead have General Engineering so be mindful of that.

problem is, I don't do physics😅😅. The courses I'm applying to don't require it but are preferred....
Probably depends on which 'non-traditional' subjects you picked. Imperial probably isn't realistic w/o physics + fm but then again theres no harm in trying.

Definitely! They don't require physics and has a much higher offer rate than imperial. With your 3 A* you have a very good chance

Also your subjects are fine. For context, I'm applying for economics courses with art as one of my A levels 😅, at least yours are academic subjects.
