Hey there 😁

Many congratulations on your offers! 🥳

Interviews can definitely feel stressful, and trust me, you’re not alone in that. I still get nervous before every job interview! But the fact that you’re preparing thoroughly and seeking advice shows you’re already on the right track.

Show that you’ve taken the time to learn about pharmacy as a field and the specific role or program you’re applying for. Balance this with your own individuality by reflecting on your passions, career goals, and what excites you about pharmacy. This combination of knowledge and personal insight can make a lasting impression.

Talk about the skills you already have that are relevant to pharmacy and what you’re eager to develop further. It’s also helpful to share your vision for the future, even if it’s just a general idea. And don't worry! It can change 😅 But this will demonstrate that you’ve put thought into your career path and are motivated to grow, while also leaving room for flexibility.

Be ready to answer some common interview questions. They will definitely ask about your reasons for choosing pharmacy, current skills, and plans for the future. You can even prepare a question for the interviewers. I learned through my experience that this leaves a strong positive impression. For example, you could ask about professional development opportunities or the organisation’s approach to mentoring new pharmacists. It shows that you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and genuinely interested in the field.

Remember, the key is to show that you’re knowledgeable, passionate, and unique. You’ve got this!

I hope it was helpful 💪 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 😉 You can also chat with me orother students directly through The Ambassador Platform.

GOOOOOD LUCK,

Thank you so much this is so so so helpful cause I am nervous about the maths section and the fact I might not know enough, would you recommend I do mock questions and practice and maybe read on some new things in pharmacy and new opportunities? Thank you so much this is the best advice I have seen

Hey there,

Thanks for your reply and I'm glad you found the interview a good experience overall! We know these things can be stressful, that's quite natural. But you really don't need to worry because no one is there to catch you out - we just want to get a sense of you as a person and your motivations for wanting to study pharmacy.

You've done the difficult bit - wishing you the very best of luck for the next stage!

Hey there 😁

Thanks for your kind words! I'm super happy to hear that!

Mathematics can be challenging, but a bit of preparation can go a long way - not just for acing the test but also for boosting your confidence and peace of mind. Take some time to explore mock exercises and get comfortable with them. You'll start noticing patterns in many of these exercises, which will definitely help you tackle them more effectively.
Gaining additional knowledge about the field of pharmacy is also an excellent move. It’s a great way to impress interviewers and demonstrate your dedication and passion for the profession. You are REALLY on the right track 💪

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions 😉

Take care,

For the maths I jus went over conversions and there should be this one website that pops up when u search: Pharmacy calculation questions.
Tbh for the SJT questions I jus asked chatgpt to give me situational judgement questions for mpharm students and you'll get the gist of ot eventually.
