girl from work attention seeking

Hey. There's this younger girl from work I often talk to,and she kind of enjoys talking, sometimes she says I irritate her, but keeps talking, she will hit me sometimes in the arm when I tease/annoy her about something. When we talk she smiles often, and she kinda looks away, but there's something in her eyes...i dunno.
She banters about my age,maybe just to tease or to dissuade me to advance on her.
Is there any way without asking her directly, that I can tell she is playing me, a "attention seeking/just-friends" girl, or that she has an interest in me?

Just because she’s a girl doesn’t mean you need to define her as “attention-seeking” or a romantic opportunity. Every time I open this website I am shocked about how deeply misogynistic many of the male users are still. Honestly.
