IB pg 41/45 (HL766), but IELTS score is below the requirement

Hi my I’m an international student studying IB, and my pg is a 41/45, with 766 for my HL subjects.
I want to study LLB in Southampton. My IELTS scores are all 7.0 and above apart fro speaking at a 6.0, which is 0.5 points below the language requirement for LLB in Southampton. All my other contents are more or less significantly above the minimum marks required, idk whether i will still be considered by Southampton or not..
Also, idk whether Southampton provides good LLB courses, some ppl told me that although Birmingham has good facilities, the law college is not as ideal. Other voices have told me that LLB in Southampton is less advanced in Birmingham.
Just wondering if Southampton might consider giving me an offer..????
Hi @Alizzz

It would be worth contacting the University's enquiries team by email: [email protected] or by phone: +44(0)23 8059 5000 as they will be able to give you an answer on this.

What I can say is the University of Southampton does offer the opportunity to enrol on a pre-sessional english course to take your English up to the required level should your results be below the minimum required. You can find out more here. So, they may give you an offer on conditional of you enrolling on this course. But, I recommend you contact the University who will be able to better advise you on this.
