Charged for first course

Subject: Tuition Fee Inquiry

Hi,

I need some assistance, please.

I transferred from my first course, Adult Nursing (full-time), to another course, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (part-time), after four weeks. However, I have been charged the tuition fee for the first course. Should I reapply for student finance for the payment of the first course, or will it be automatically covered with the tuition for the second course?

Thank you!

Hi there, is the university still the same and is this during the same academic year? Thanks, Jason

Thank you and had you changed your course with us to a part time course or is your application still showing as the full time course? Thanks, Jason

Hi, I originally applied for the full-time course. Still, while waiting for a reply to see whether I had been granted it, I swapped courses and went on the part-time course, where I contacted you and transferred my application to the part-time course.
Hi there,

Has the application been approved for the part time course and have we made payments for this course? Did you or the university send us a Change of Circumstances?

Thanks, Drew

Hi, my application has been approved, and payment has been made to the university for the part-time course. No, I did not send a change of circumstances. I am unsure whether the university has also sent this.
Hi there,

How did you change from full time to part time? Did you have submit a part time paper application and was the full time application cancelled? Did you get payments for the full time application or has it just be for the part time application?

Thanks, Drew

Hi, I changed from the full-time to the part-time course by entering a course transfer form, which was accepted. As far as I know, the university has cancelled the full-time course. I started the full-time course late and was in the process of my application being agreed with student finance while the process was going on. I transferred over to the part-time course, which funding was granted. I am not quite sure how the system works. I never thought anything of it. I just entered a course transfer form and was moved over. I thought that when I gained student finance, just one payment would be made for the first semester, whether I was taking one course or another.
