Which uni is the best marketing degree

I want to study marketing, but most great universities don't have marketing programs; it's usually grouped with business management. Which university would you suggest for me?

Hello @1Nidai ,

It's great to hear you are thinking of studying marketing!

When it comes to choosing a university, it is always a hard choice. When narrowing down my options, I listed what I wanted from a university, e.g. do you want a hands-on study style, a lecture-based approach, exams/ no exams, the local town, and the facilities available during your study. I found it easier to narrow my options once I had narrowed down what I wanted.

There are a few options for Marketing degree courses at the University of Reading. For example, BSc Business and Management (Marketing), BSc Consumer Behaviour and Marketing, BSc Food Business and Marketing, and BSc Business and Management (Marketing) with Placement Year.

Whilst studying at the university, they offer great professional support and career services to ensure students can work on their CVs to aid their graduation employability.

The university has an ambassador scheme where you can talk to current students about the course you are interested in. I highly recommend you talk to Olivia, a 2nd-year student studying business and management, which is slightly different from your course choice, but she will still be able to answer any business-related questions you may have.

It's always a great idea to Come to an Open Day, as this allows you to get a real feel of the university and university life. Alternatively, there is a Virtual tour, which you can do from home.

I hope you can find the University you are looking for, and if you have any questions about the course or choosing a university, please let us know.

All the best,
Ella 😀
