Preparing for your Interview

We want to get to know you, so making sure you're comfortable can really help your personality shine through. Prepare some questions of your own as well; your interview isn't just about deciding whether you're a good fit for NTU, it's about whether we're a good fit for you too. The interview is a great opportunity to learn more about us, as well as showing the interviewers how passionate you are about your chosen subject.

Your Portfolio

Your university portfolio is an opportunity to exhibit your best work and show us exactly why you're right for your chosen course. We know that your work is unique, and nobody will know it better than you. What we'd like to see can differ from course to course, so make sure to take a look at our individual course advice pages here, some of the things we are looking for across different disciplines include:

We'd like to see a mix of different medias, showing you're not afraid to try something new or develop new skills.

It's helpful to see your creative process displayed, how you work, as well as your inspirations and considerations, so don’t just include the polished end-product. We want to see how you got there.

How you present your work is also important. We want to see that you can communicate ideas and concepts well and capture attention.

Most importantly we want to see your passion and ways of thinking creatively reflected through in your work. Whilst preparing your portfolio, fill it with projects you are proud of and enthusiastic about, demonstrating your potential, demonstrating your potential to be successful on the course you are applying for.

We're looking forward to meeting you and seeing your work. Let us know below if you have any questions!
