epq

i got a U in my epq because of some extenuating circumstances (my uni does not consider extenuating circumstances) and I’m applying for law this year. epq isn’t in the grade requirements, my A levels are AAA which fit the grade requirements of my uni. will they just ignore my epq grade since it’s not required or will they look at it and potentially not give me a place because it’s a terrible grade EVEN though it’s not required and I otherwise fit a level and gcse requirements ?
Dont sweat it, the AAA matters more. A handful of Unis take the EPQ mark into consideration and will lower your offer - Sheffield, Birmingham. The majority dont give a fudge about the EPQ.

thank you! but since i dont need the epq in the first place bc its not required they cant reject me based on it right? like it would only affect me if they gave me an offer based on it and I didn’t meet it. But since im applying only with my a levels (bc thats all they want) they can’t reject me just simply bc i failed the epq because they don’t even ask for it, it’s just a bonus, right? im just worried it’ll make me look bad

thank you for answering, ive been really worried : (
